Rutland, Vt. – Community Care Network (CCN) is pleased to announce that it has named current staffer Cindy Taylor-Patch as the organization’s new Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) Project Director. In this role, Taylor-Patch will lead CCN’s CCBHC certification process centered around the key objectives of care coordination, utilization of evidence-based practices and continuous quality improvement, with a special emphasis on ensuring and improving equal access to care and support.
“Removing barriers to receiving care is vital to CCN, and I’m eager to lead CCN’s initiative to achieve federal Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic status,” said Taylor-Patch. “The structure and support that this certification process brings will have significant benefits for the agency and the entire community we serve.”
Taylor-Patch, who joined CCN in 2022, has most recently served the organization as its Director of Substance Use Treatment Services. Prior to arriving at CCN, Taylor-Patch worked for the Vermont Police Academy for 20 years, where she spent her final 12 years as the Director of Training and Curriculum Development and also became a statewide leader in training and policy development around how police respond to mental health-related calls.
Additionally, Taylor-Patch has previously held the roles of Training & Curriculum Coordinator and Training Specialist with the Vermont Police Academy, Founding Member and Chair of the Vermont Mental Health Crisis Response Commission, Walk-In Clinician and Therapeutic Case Manager with Rutland Mental Health Services, Crisis Clinician & Utilization Analyst on Rutland Regional Medical Center’s Psychiatric Services Unit, and Emergency Team Clinician with Counseling Services of Addison County.
Taylor-Patch, who holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology from Castleton University, is a current member of the Vermont Association of Addiction Treatment Providers, Vermont Addiction Professionals Association, National Association for Addiction Professionals and RRMC Psychiatric Inpatient Services Unit Advisory Council.
