Community Care Network announces 2023 service results

Key outcomes include over 97,000 hours of direct service to more than 3,500 clients

 

 

Rutland, Vt. – Community Care Network (CCN) today announced its 2023 service results in conjunction with the release of its 2023 Impact Report.

 

“CCN is pleased to share its 2023 Impact Report, which provides an overview of the key service results and areas of improvement seen at CCN during 2023,” said Dick Courcelle, Chief Executive Officer with Community Care Network. “2023 brought substantial growth and progress at CCN on a number of significant, client-focused initiatives, while the organization continued to deliver high-quality, timely services to those seeking our assistance each and every day. We are incredibly proud of the efforts our staff and volunteers, and collaborations with community partners, toward not only sustaining quality service delivery on a daily basis, but also identifying and implementing new programs, tools and processes to continuously improve client experiences and outcomes.”

 

Among Community Care Network’s 2023 service results and areas of advancement are:

 

  • 97,345 hours of direct service provided to 3,601 clients across the functional service areas of Developmental Services, Substance Use Disorders Treatment, Community Rehabilitation and Treatment, Adult Behavioral Health Services, Child and Family Services and Mental Health Crisis Services.
  • Implementation of Rutland Mental Health Services’ new Open Access Model which has reduced the average wait time for assessment from 15 days to two days.
  • Completion of year one of a four-year initiative to become a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). Through a multi-year grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, CCN is in the midst of expanding services to include primary care screenings, Medication Assisted Treatment, peer supports, and mental health outreach to veterans and active military.
  • Development and implementation of a new Early Head Start offering by CCN’s Rutland County Head Start program, bringing much-needed infant and toddler care and supportive family services to the community.
  • Completion of widespread improvements to many of CCN’s facilities to enhance accessibility, energy efficiency, and comfort for both clients and employees.
  • Implementation of a Digital Health – Artificial Intelligence initiative aimed at assisting clinicians with essential documentation, and looking-forward to improve service levels via utilization of new therapeutic tools to better engage clients in their treatment.
  • Continued provision and growth of CCN’s Rutland Mental Health Services Crisis Text Line, which fielded over 2,200 texts in its first 12 months of operation.
  • Continued post-COVID-19 rebuild and growth of CCN’s vital Senior Volunteer Program’s volunteer roster.
  • On average across all programs, 89% of clients reported that they would recommend the program to a friend or colleague, 88% reported that staff treated them with respect and 79% reported that the services they received made a difference.
