CSID: Crisis Stabilization & Inpatient Diversion
CSID is a residential program designed to help one through their mental health crisis in a warm comfortable homelike environment. Residents involved in programing should expect a short stay of approximately three to seven days, and should be active participants in CSID daily functions. Daily function includes aiding in med management, psychoeducational groups, communal meetings meals, and progress toward completion of identified collaborative goals.
Services include but are not limited to:
• 24/7 supervision for individuals experiencing acute mental health crisis in a comfortable home setting with structure for safety and support.
• Room & board for a short term stay.
• Daily supportive individual counseling and group psycho-education for stability are structured for optimal support in crisis recovery.
• Short-term individualized goal plan upon admission, with daily activities to address goal.
• Nursing services, including a wellness assessment and plan of care.
• Peer support available to help you connect with the community and advocate for needs.
Room & Board Details:
• Private bedroom with standard full-size bed, extra bedding, and closet space.
• Two shared bathrooms.
• Food: Nutritious and specialty/therapeutic meals, snacks, and beverages.
• Light cleaning services provided by staff.
• On-site laundry facility. Laundered bed and bath linens provided at least once a week.
• Transportation offered for necessary appointments and occasional activities.
Referral & Admission
Referrals for CSID can come from a hospital psychiatric unit, from Community Care Network’s Emergency Services team in the Emergency Department, or from the community. For further referral information, contact Rob Bride at rbride@rmhsccn.org
